We truelyhad the greatest stay of our lives!!
We truly had the greatest holiday stay of our lives!! Nothing has even been close. From the caring genuine staff who maintained the prestine guest house every morning, the breakfast and polite friendly services, in house massage upon request and local advice knowledge. The provided driver organised day tours, in a very spacious clean vehicle and not only took us to trusted vendors and establishments but was able to adjust the tour based on our needs. The daily staff - Adi, Made and Chandra were so friendly polite and caring. Gardener and pool man - Mahdi - might have the friendliest smiley face in Seminyak !. Manager - Oka - was very genuine, helpful and always made sure everything was ok, including coordinating taxis, day tours, and all other needs. And our driver - Edi - very friendly and knowledgeable. We had so much fun with him and loved our little rest stops at the local Marts. Finally, of course the host Allison who has the perfect team in place delivering way above expectations
We had such a wonderful stay!
Ally was the perfect host - easy to contact and communicate with and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay, the villa is absolutely beautiful with comfy beds, stylish bathrooms and a great pool. It was great to be able to just walk out of the living areas and step straight into the clean pool when it was so hot. The staff went above and beyond making us feel very relaxed and ensuring we had everything we needed to make our girls trip one to remember fondly. A highlight for us was the yummy breakfast and lovely massages that we were able to have in the villa - highly recommend. Oka the manager was always there to help if we needed assistance. Restaurants and shopping in the area are top notch and within walking distance. If you are after a very relaxing, quiet and nicely decorated villa that makes you feel very much at home - this is it! We will most definitely be back!
What a lovely place
What a lovely place. We have stayed at a few places in Bali, but this place is like none other. A place that nods to its historic balinese roots, yet adapted with modern conveniences. Central to restaurants and shopping yet peaceful. Only a few minutes walk to Seminyak beach. A delicious pool and beautiful decor. We hope to return soon. Thank you Adi and Oka for everything.
Home away from home
I can not say enough good things about our stay at Villa Monroe. It was a home away from home! From booking with host Ally and all her help with pre-arrival information to our departure we had the best experience. The villa itself is gorgeous, 3 big bedrooms, bathrooms and spacious living area. The location is great, it is really in the middle of hustle and bustle but once inside the walls of the Villa it is so peaceful you would never know how convenient a location it is. Our concierge/house keeping team Oka and Adi (and another lovely gentleman who took care of the pool and outdoor area) onsite were responsive, very friendly and welcoming, they kept the villa in great shape during our stay, working around our plans and providing helpful advice on local restaurants, places of interest etc. We used the laundry service which was fantastic, there was so much information provided about local things to do, transport, emergency details if needed, everything - Do not hesitate to book!
Fabulous
Our 2 weeks at the Monroe with our 3 children was fabulous! Oka, Adi and the team were superb over that time and very helpful whenever needed. The villa was a joy to spend time at, with the privacy of the pool making it a pleasure to use. Whilst the beach, shops and restaurants were all so close by. Everything was so convenient we can only say thank you so much again!
amazing experience
Spent a week here. Party of 4. Tones of space, lots of places to spend the day relaxing away from real life. As if it could be; even better than the photos show. Lots of space and furnished really nicely. Check in was smooth and easy as they picked us up from the airport then greeted us warmly at the villa. Any issues we had were speedily resolved with a visit if necessary. The villa is peaceful and quiet. Which is strange as it is only a short walk from restaurants and bars. Beach is around 20 minutes' walk, but we didn't spend much time there as we had a lovely pool to dive into every day. I would definitely stay again as would the rest of my group. Thank you to Allison, Oka and staff who made our stay so great.
amazing experience
Greeted by the manager and immediately felt we were in capable hands. Pool was sensational. Place is stunning but also authentic of the country. Villa is super close to everything but also tucked away down a lane so quiet, would recommend. Loved it.
More than expected
Walked in with manager Oka and met Adi the butler. Both were very welcoming and informative. The pool was a wow followed by huge doors leading to a beautiful living room. dining and kitchen just like the pictures. Three rooms all thoughtfully designed and the relaxing floor space on level 2 is a gem. It is in the centre of Seminyak with almost everything available walking distance. We were there 3 days and loved our stay. definitely worth more than the price. Highly recommended.
Beautiful home
I have stayed in many Airbnb's around the world but this home is so homely and beautiful. The pool is something else. Always cold and huge. I wish I could have stayed longer. I have already recommended to my family and friends and definitely recommend to the world. Well done for such a beautiful home and vibe. We will definitely be back thank you.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and genuine smiles from the staff. The check-in process was seamless and the villa itself was stunning, blending traditional Balinese architecture with modern amenities. The spacious living area was elegantly furnished. The bedrooms were equally impressive, each boasting comfortable beds and luxurious linen. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the private pool area and the superb location so close to everything, yet still quiet. We would love to come back.
